Through two different locations at either end of the town we offer a
variety of flexible sessions;
-
Roundabout Trinity
offers children from 3 months to 2 years (babies) and 2 to 3 years
(toddlers) known as Bunnies, care from 8.30am up to 6pm throughout the
year (see calendar) in a smaller room which has its own
bathroom and courtyard garden area. The older toddlers are able to explore
the facilities of the bigger playroom from the security of a penned area
from where they can see and hear older children and when accompanied by
their carers explore communal areas such as the climbing frame, role-play
and painting areas. Once they are happy in the bigger environment they
will be encouraged to move up to the Sheep area (big playroom). This is usually around
the age of 3 years but is dependent on the child's confidence.
-
Roundabout Town
offers children 2 years and over a morning pre-school session during term
time for 38 weeks of the year.
-
Parents only wishing to use Government Funding places are under no
obligation to book holiday care although they may do on an ad hoc basis if
they wish to.
-
At Trinity we offer three meals a day. Breakfast, consists of a choice of
cereals, drink and fruit which are supplied by us.
A hot meal at lunch (available for tea for After School Children) and cold
tea.
We
also offer water and milk throughout the day at both Roundabout Trinity
and Roundabout The Town, with fruit and a carbohydrate such as popcorn
or crackers mid morning and fruit mid afternoon at Roundabout Trinity.

We offer a large range of Story Sacks for children to borrow. Story
Sacks hold a collection of books; a main story and in most cases a
reference book connected to the story. There is also a collection of
related toys or games for you to share with your child. The aim of the
Story Sacks is to bring literacy alive to our child helping them make
connections between the story and the toys, in some cases they can use
the toys to re-tell the story. The idea behind having reference books
alongside the story is to enable your child to understand the
differences between story and information and help them understand
there are different sorts of books. The Story Sacks are for sharing with
an adult rather than for children to use on their own. There is also a
parents booklet containing some ideas for further activities and some
information on how children learn to read.
