Dawn Evans - Roundabout Trinity Manager

I am the only remaining founder member of the original Roundabout Christian Playgroup. A group of mothers started the playgroup when the group our children were attending closed and there was no other Christian group around. At that time I and my family attended Trinity Methodist Church and I had attended a nursery run by my mother for most of my life and had helped as soon as I was old enough to do so. Whilst pregnant with our first child I took my first pre-school certificate and, as goal posts changed I updated this with a Diploma in Pre-school Practice, followed by an Early Years Degree and finally (I hope) Early Years Professional Status.  I now have three grown up children and a grandson and worship at New Life Church.

At Trinity we have a Manager who doubles as the Over 3's Supervisor. She is qualified to Degree Level, with the addition of Early Years Professional Status. We also have a Deputy who is qualified to level 3, both have under 2's training. One other member of staff is qualified to level 3.

We have two members of staff qualified with level 2 and one of those is due to complete level 3 shortly. 4 other members of staff are training at level 3.

All of these staff have first aid certificates and all but 2 have level 2 first aid.

We have one new member of staff at Trinity.

At Roundabout Town we have a Supervisor in Charge trained to level 3 and one other level 3, one staff member with level 2 and about to start training at level 3.

Vacancies

We are currently seeking an Evening Supervisor with relevant level 3. First aid training can be given. This person must be prepared to share holiday care shifts with Manager and Deputy during the day and also be prepared to cover sick or training staff during term time.
