Margaret Collins DL - Chairman of the Roundabout Board of Governors

I have lived in East Grinstead for over forty years & am a retired teacher having taught in Special & Mainstream schools. I am a Governor of Sackville school. I am a Member of Trinity Methodist Church. I have taught in the Sunday school & was also a founder Officer of the Trinity Boys' Brigade Company. I am involved in several local voluntary organisations & am a Town Councillor. Married to John & the Mother of 3 married children, I also have the joy of being the Grandmother of 4 boys & 4 girls.

As a member of Trinity Methodist Church, since moving to East Grinstead in 1969, I have been involved with teaching in the Sunday School and in leading a Youth Club. I managed a Pre-School Playgroup in my home for 6 years before training as a mature student for teaching; first at Sackville School and then with children with Special Needs, including autism. I have also been a Governor at Baldwins Hill School. My experiences have contributed to my interest in supporting Roundabout Christian Pre-School Playgroup with practical difficulties and with the welfare of the children.

Ruth Dymock - Treasurer

I am a member of Trinity Methodist Church and have lived in East Grinstead for 42 years. I am pleased to be on the board of Governors and its Treasurer. I have seen Roundabout Pre-school increase its provision of child care over the years. My other connection with Pre-Schools was via working for Pre-School Learning Alliance (a charity which supports Pre-Schools), as bookkeeper and then Office Administrator at the South East Regional Office. I have 3 children and 6 grandchildren from toddlers to a teenager so I am used to being with Pre-School age group and want to see the best provision for them at Pre-school age which we do our best to provide at Roundabout Christian Pre-School.

Dawn Evans - Roundabout Trinity Manager

I am the only remaining founder member of the original Roundabout Christian Playgroup. A group of mothers started the playgroup when the group our children were attending closed and there was no other Christian group around. At that time I and my family attended Trinity Methodist Church and I had attended a nursery run by my mother for most of my life and had helped as soon as I was old enough to do so. Whilst pregnant with our first child I took my first pre-school certificate and, as goal posts changed I updated this with a Diploma in Pre-school Practice, followed by an Early Years Degree and finally (I hope) Early Years Professional Status.  I now have three grown up children and a grandson and worship at New Life Church.

Sandra Walker - Roundabout Town Supervisor in Charge

I have lived in East Grinstead for 17 years and I am a member of Trinity Methodist Church. I have taught in a Sunday school for many years and have more recently been involved in holiday clubs and worked within a youth band . I play the keyboard in our church worship band. I am happily married with two grown up children. I joined Roundabout in January 2004, following in my mother's footsteps, as she managed a pre school for many years, and have always worked at the Wallis site. I have a Diploma in Pre School Practice, level 3. I really love working at Roundabout Town as Supervisor and find it very rewarding.

Anne Kent

I am a member of Trinity Methodist Church and have lived in East Grinstead for 16 years. I am very pleased to be on the board of governors for Roundabout Christian Pre School. I taught in ‘Sunday School’ for 17 years before coming to East Grinstead and for a few years at Trinity. I love children and am the Safeguarding officer for Trinity. I have one son and a daughter-in-law and a lovely baby granddaughter. I am retired now but busier than ever!!

I am a member of Trinity Methodist Church and have lived in East Grinstead for 26 years. I am happily married with 2 grown up children who both attended local schools. I was the School Doctor for the East Grinstead area from 1992-1997, but I now work as a Consultant in Public Health Medicine in Medway. I am very pleased to be on the Board of Governors for Roundabout Christian Pre School.
